NTSE Uttarakhand

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program (Exam) for students studying in Class X.
State Council of Educational Research & Training, Uttarakhand, has released the application form for NTSE 2022 Stage 1. The Last date to submit the application form is 12th November 2021.

Uttarakhand NTSE 2021-22 stage 1 exam will be held on 16th January 2022. The students selected in stage-I will be eligible to appear in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE-2) conducted by NCERT, Delhi, on 12th June 2022(Sunday).

Eligibility for NTSE Uttarakhand

A minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH) in class 9.
Aspirants pursuing class 10 in the current academic year are eligible.
Candidates must have studied in government, private schools in Uttrakhand
Open Distance Learning candidates are eligible if their age is not above 18 years.
Students must hold Indian Nationality.
NMMS scholarship holders are also eligible.

Uttarakhand NTSE 2021 Result has been announced on the official website. The selection list and the merit list have been released on scert.uk.gov.in. Total 79 Students from Uttarakhand have been qualified for NTSE Final Scholarship test. 

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program (Exam). The eligibility for the examination is class X appearing student.

Based on the National Talent Search Examination, students are awarded scholarships. The amount of scholarship for Class-XI to XII is Rs.1250/- per month. For Undergraduates and Post-graduates, the scholarship is Rs.2000/- per month. The amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. is in accordance with the UGC norms.

There is a two-stage selection process for the award of scholarship. For NTSE Stage-I, Selection is done by States/UTs through a written examination. Students, who Qualify for Stage- I are eligible to appear for the Stage-II examination.

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Uttarakhand has released a notification regarding the Answer Sheet of NTSE Stage 1 examination held in December 2020 on their official website. NTSE Uttarakhand Stage 1 Answer Key  is available at their respective official website for both the paper.

There are two paper conducted in stage 1 examination Candidates can download both the  NTSE 2021 answer key for Paper 1 and Paper 2, NTSE Scholarship 2021 Stage 1 examination was conducted on 13th December 2020.   Candidates can download NTSE 2020-21 Stage 1 answer key PDF for both Paper 1 – Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Paper – 2 Scholastic Aptitude Test  both official. “State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Uttarakhand has recently released the list of selected students & respective Marks for NTSE 2019 Stage-1 Exam on its Official Website.”

NTSE Stage-1 2020 exam was held on 3rd Nov. 2019 at various centers in Uttarakhand State.

A Total of 82 students are declared as qualified for NTS Stage-2 Exam.

NTSE Stage-2 Exam is set to be conducted on 10-May-2020.

NTSE is conducted in two stages, the NTSE Stage-1 is being conducted on State Level by respective State Education Board of Schools & the NTSE Stage-2 by NCERT, Delhi. Total 2000 students are selected through this exam & all the selected students are provided a monthly scholarship for their further studies up to Ph.D. level.

Eligibility

All students currently studying in class 10^th from any recognized school under Uttarakhand State Education Board. Students must have minimum 65% (for General & 55% for Rest categories) in class 9^th.

Note: Only 79 students will be selected from Uttarakhand state for NTS Stage-2 exam.

Application Fee:

The application fee for Uttarakhand NTSE Stage-1 exam –

• General/OBC Category – Rs. 200 &
• ST/SC/Differently Abled students – Rs. 100

Exam Pattern:

The State Level NTSE exam will have two test papers –

• MAT (Mental Ability Test) &
• SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

Both the papers weigh 100 questions each with 1 marks for each right question and exam duration will be 120 minutes (& 150 minutes for Differently abled students). There is no particular syllabus for the exam but syllabi of class 9^th & 10^th is recommended.

A Total of 39 students are declared as qualified for NTS Stage-2 Exam.
NTSE Stage-2 Tentative Date is 12-May-2019.

State Council of Educational Research & Training Uttarakhand has released the list of qualified candidates of Uttarakhand NTSE 2018 Exam on 2nd feb 2018 . Total 43 Candidate qualified the exam and now will appear in the Final NTSE Exam (Stage-2), will be held on 13th May 2018.

Uttarakhand NTSE 2017 Result (Stage-I) has been declared for the exam held on 6th Nov 2017. All Qualified Candidates from Uttarakhand NTSE now will be eligible to participate in the National Talent Search Examination NTSE Stage-II 2017 which is going to held on 14th May 2017 (Sunday).
