Official Notification Released for Andhra Pradesh NTSE Stage-1, Check all Details

“Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh recently released the NTSE 2020 (National Talent Search Exam) Stage-1 Notification & Exam date on the official website.”

Under the supervision of NCERT Delhi, the NTS exam conducted every year in two phases. After clearing both stages, 2000 students are selected for a monthly scholarship.

Eligibility

Students studying in class 10th in the current academic year from any recognized school in Andhra Pradesh including Kendriya Vidhyalayas, Navodaya Samitis, and schools affiliated to C.B.S.E. & I.C.S.E. New Delhi. Students must have minimum 60% (for General & 55% for Rest categories) in class 9th.

Note:

  • The exam will be conducted in Telugu, English, Urdu & Hindi Medium.
  • Examination Fee: Rs. 200 (Rupees Two Hundred only)

  • For Under Graduation & Post Graduation Students – Rs. 2000 per Month.

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerela has invited applications for the State Level Kerala National Talent Search Examination 2019 for the students of class 10th.

The Kerala NTSE stage-1 is scheduled to be held on 3rd November 2019. Only those students who are studying in Class X during this academic year in any Government/Aided/Recognized schools/Kendriya Vidyalaya/ Navodaya Vidyalaya in Kerala are eligible to apply for the NTSE Stage 1 exam in online mode through the official website.

NTSE Kerala 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The students who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the NTS exam can apply for the same. The candidate must have secured not less than 55% for all non-language subjects in the qualifying examination of class IX. Open Distance Learning (ODL) students below 18 years of age can apply for this exam. However, this is the first time they will be writing the NTSE exam.

Kerala NTSE 2020 Stage 1 Official Notification

 

Official Notification for Odisha State level NTSE Stage-1 exam 2019-20 | Check Exam Dates, Syllabus, Eligibility & Exam Pattern

NTSE is a National level Talent Hunt and Scholarship exam conducted by State Boards and NCERT, Delhi. NTSE stands for National Talent Search Exam. This is an “Offline mode only” exam. After clearing both the NTSE stages, 2000 students are said to be eligible for NTSE Scholarships.

The NTSE exam will be conducted in the following two stages
1. NTSE stage-1 will be a state-level exam
2. NTSE stage-2 will be a national level exam for students selected through NTSE Stage-1

“Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT, Odisha has released the official notification for State-level NTSE stage-1.”
As per the released notification, a total of 259 students will be selected through the NTSE stage-1 exam. After the NTSE stage-2 exam, 2000 students will be selected for the Scholarships. These scholarships will be claimable up to Ph.D. as per decided by the NCERT (upon fulfilling the further criteria).

Note: There is NO EXAMINATION FEE introduced by Exam conducting bodies for the NTSE exam 2019-20.

Eligibility

  • All students currently studying in class 10th from any recognized school under Odisha State Education Board.
  • Students must have minimum 60% (for General & 55% for Rest categories) in class 9th.
  • Maximum age decided by the State Board to appear in this exam is restricted to 18 years only (as on 1st July 2019).

Exam Pattern:

The State Level NTSE exam will have two test papers namely – MAT (Mental Ability Test) & SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) of 100 marks with 2 hours of Exam duration for each.

There is no particular syllabus for the exam but syllabi of class 9th & 10th is recommended. The qualifying marks for NTSE stage-1 will be minimum 40% for general category students & 32% for the reserved category students.

Official Notification for Chhattisgarh NTSE 2019-20 stage-1 Released. Find Application Form & other Important details

Official Notification for Chhattisgarh NTSE 2018-19 exam along with Offline Application form has been recently released by State Council of Educational Research & Training, Chhattisgarh.

The stage-1 will be a State level offline exam for all eligible 10th appearing students. The Papers will be conducted for this exam, namely MAT (Mental Ability test) & SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) of 100 questions each & exam duration will be 90 minutes for both papers. The Medium for exam will be Hindi/English.

Eligibility

All students of Class 10th from any affiliated or recognized school of state can apply for this exam. If selected in NTSE stage 1 then NCERT, Delhi will conduct NTSE stage-2 for all selected students. Students who qualify both stages will be entitled for the NCERT scholarship for class 11th, 12th, UG & PG programs (under the UGC norms).

Telangana NTSE Stage-1 Official Exam Date announced; Check Important dates, Exam pattern, Eligibility, Syllabus etc

“NTSE (National Talent Search Exam) Stage-1 (first level) exam date for Telangana State has been released by Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana, Hyderabad.”

Under the supervision of NCERT Delhi, the NTS exam is conducted every year in two phases. After clearing both stages, 2000 students are selected for a monthly scholarship. Students in the state who are studying X Standard in any of the recognized schools or NMMS scholar can write the examination on 3 November 2019.

NTSE 2020 Stage-1 & Stage-2 Official Schedule | Check Exam Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Application Form and Fee Details

NTSE 2020 Stage 1 and Stage 2 exam dates and schedule has been released by NCERT Delhi.

The official NTSE 2020 Notification has been issued on July 17, 2019. National Talent Search Examination popularly known as NTSE is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for identifying and nurturing the talented students who want to pursue higher education in Science and Social Studies streams.

Based on student’s scores in Mental Ability Test, Scholastic Aptitude Test, and Interview, the NTSE scholarships will be distributed. Alike last year, 2000 scholarships will be awarded this year for different stages.

a) Scholarship of Rs. 1250/- per month for class XI and XII
b) Scholarship of Rs. 2000/- per month for Undergraduate and postgraduate
c) Amount of scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.

NTSE Eligibility Criteria

Students of class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the Stage-1 exam, conducted by the States/UTs, in which the schools are located. There will be no domicile restriction. Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided the student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in class X examination for the first time. Those students who quality NTSE Stage 1 are eligible for NTSE Stage 2.

NTSE 2020 Exam Dates

NTSE will be conducted in two stages:

NTSE Stage 1 exam will be held on November 2, 3 & 17, 2019.
The stage 2 exam will be held on May 10, 2020.

Only those who qualify Stage 1 NTSE 2020 exam will be called for the Stage 2 exam, to be held in may 2020.
