NTSE Delhi 2022 Exam: Know Exam Date, Application Process, Guidelines and other complete details.

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program (Exam) for students studying in Class X.

Directorate of Education, Delhi, has released the application form for NTSE 2022 Stage 1. Schools can register their eligible students from 15th November to 30th November 2021 at www.edudel.nic.in

Delhi NTSE 2021-22 stage 1 exam will be held on 16th January 2022. The students who have qualified the Stage-1 examination will appear in the stage-2 examination conducted by NCERT, Delhi, on 12th June 2022 (Sunday).

Delhi NTSE Stage-1 Eligibility

(i) The students presently studying in Class X in Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. Schools including the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, School of MCD, NDMC, DCB, NIOS etc. in GNCT of Delhi.

(ii) Must have secured 60% marks in Class IX in the session 2020-2021, 5% relaxation in marks for the students belonging to SC/ST and PH category.

(iii) Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the students is below the age of 18 years (as on 01st July of the particular year), the students is not employed and he/she is appearing in Class-X examination for the first time.

How to Apply for Delhi NTSE 

(i) The School HoS will register the students on Directorate of Education website www.edudel.nic.inwith their own school login ID and Password► School Plant► Scholarship► School information entry form► Application form.

(ii) School can register their eligible enrolled students from 15th November to 30th November 2021.

(iii) Directorate of Education, Science Branch will generate Roll Numbers of the candidates and allot Centre of Examination by 03rd December 2021.

(iv) Schools will print out the admit card duly attested by HOS and issue 2 copies to the students up to 15th January 2021.

Note:- Head of Schools is directed, that the candidates who claim to be under EWS (Economic weaker section) category must provide only EWS (Economic weaker section) certificate, not Income certificate. If an EWS certificate is not provided by the candidate then he/she will be treated as a General candidate.

COVID GUIDELINES

a) Parents will submit an undertaking in school with regard to permitting his/her ward to appear in the examination.

b) All the candidates will wear the mask and maintain social distancing and follow other COVID guidelines prescribed as per Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India at the examination center.

c) Safety norms with regard to checking of temperature and sanitization is to be strictly followed by the all concerned.

NTSE Scholarships

On the basis of National Talent Search Examination, 2000 scholarships will be awarded. The amount of scholarship will be as under:
a) Scholarship of Rs. 1250/- per month for Class –XI to XII.
b) Scholarship of Rs. 2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. be fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
