National Talent Search Examination Everything about NTSE Exam
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a scholarship exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to identify and nurture talented students. The exam is conducted for students studying in class 10th. NTSE is conducted in two stages.
The students who have qualified the stage 1 exam of NTSE 2020 at the state level are eligible to write for national level NTSE (Stage 2) which is conducted by NCERT. NTSE (Stage 2) is scheduled to be held on 10th May 2020.
NTSE Exam Syllabus
Mental Ability Test (MAT) (100 questions) (2 hours)
The MAT section in the Stage 2 exam of NTSE will contain questions from various topics like series, analogies, reasoning, problem-solving, figures, classification, coding words, etc. This section mainly checks a candidate’s IQ in problem solving and reasoning.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (100 questions) (2 hours)
This section will contain questions from Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences (Geography, Political Science, History, and Economics).
NTSE Stage 2 Result 2020
The result of NTSE stage II examination will be announced in the last week of August 2020 for all the candidates. Candidates will be able to check their NTSE stage 2 result through the link provided by the NCERT where they need to enter their roll number and date of birth. The result will mention separate scores as well as the combined score for MAT and SAT paper. The disbursement of NTSE scholarship will be based on the Merit list after the announcement of NTSE stage 2 results in 2020 only.
The NTSE state level and national level examination is conducted at the exam centers designated by the exam conducting authorities. For state-level examination of NTSE, the respective states/UTs allocate the exam center to candidates which is mentioned on the NTSE admit card. For NTSE 2020 stage 2, the examination is conducted at the designated test centers by NCERT.
ALLEN NTSE Stage-2 Workshops
Every year Allen conducts NTSE level 2 workshops in multiple cities across the nation to support and prepare the aspirants well before their attempt. NTSE stage 1 results are declared tentatively in Feb/Mar, so the workshops are conducted in April/ May.

The workshops help students (NTSE stage-1 qualified) to get them prepared for the competition at the National Level and a better understanding of all subjects. Topic-wise strategy and doubt clearing sessions for improving results in Maths, Science, SAT. & MAT. The coverage of an essential portion of a higher class is also part of our teaching, which is often asked in NTSE Stage-II.
