National Talent Search Examination Everything about NTSE Exam
The National Talent Search Examination is organized by NCERT every year with the aim of recognizing talented students and rewarding them with scholarships. This exam is conducted in two phases, Stage I – which takes place at a state level; and stage II- which is conducted nationally.
Students of Class X are eligible to take part in the NTSE exam, and the qualifying students are then rewarded with:
- Scholarship of Rs. 1250/- per month in class 11th and 12th.
- Scholarship of Rs 2000/- per month in Graduation and Post-Graduation.
- Scholarship for Ph.D. students as per UGC Norms.
The Bihar state government has now released an official notification regarding the NTSE Stage 1 Bihar registration. To register, students have to visit the SCERT Patna website, www.biharscert.in and click on Online Application Portal for (NTSE) National Talent Search Examination-2021 & (NMMSS) National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme-Examination 2021.
Bihar NTSE 2021 Eligibility
All students studying in Class 10 are eligible for NTSE Bihar stage 1 exam 2020-21. Students who study in open schools can also take part in the stage-1 exam.
Bihar NTSE 2021 Paper Pattern
The State Level NTSE exam will have two test papers namely –
- MAT (Mental Ability Test)
- SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
Students have to prepare for the exam following the syllabus as taught in Class IX & X because there is no specific syllabus for NTSE.
Bihar NTSE Important Dates
- Registration on the Online Application Portal (For Schools): November 16, 2020 – November 26, 2020
- Candidate Registration, Online Application Submission, and Online Fee Payment: November 19, 2020 – December 19, 2020
- NTSE Stage 1 Exam Date: January 24, 2021
